We’re growing fast, and we have some very exciting plans. So we need a Technical Solutions Architect (Technical Lead) to help us make them happen.


Requirements

We’re looking for a Technical Solutions Architect (Technical Lead) to design the structure of our IT systems and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.

In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. We’d also like you to have hands-on experience on software development and be able to manage complex programs.


What you can expect to be doing:

You will be working within a product team to help drive the development of new API capabilities and help provide a reference point for architectural decisions both from an application and infrastructure standpoint. Thought leadership and an ability to make sure that technical discussions do not stagnate is key within this role. Leading by example in either the development of proof of concepts or mentoring less experienced engineers will be a regular component of this role. With a good understanding of microservices you will be expected to help hold the product team to account when developing new microservices throughout the whole SDLC process. 


What we’re looking for:

  • Programming language experience in one of the following: PHP, Python, Java, GoLang
  • Awareness of infrastructural requirements / networking.
  • Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrable ability to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to a team of developers / engineers.
  • A willingness to consult internally with other stakeholders and discuss business objectives and communicate technical requirements.
  • Experience writing technical reference diagrams, process flows.
  • Experience with highly regulated / compliancy environments, CIS benchmarks, PCI, PII and GDPR.
  • Understanding of Microservice Architecture / Mesh technologies and how they are deployed.
